With a mission to empower and uplift, the awards aim to connect community members and celebrate local talent and impactful contributions across industries.
The awards ceremony, anticipated to grow in prestige and popularity each year, will broadcast live with streaming options available to expand its reach. In addition to the awards presentation, the ceremony will feature live performances from talented artists and spotlight key awards in a dedicated presentation.
Nomination & Voting Process
The nomination process is entirely community-driven, putting the power of selection into the hands of the public. Through a user-friendly voting website, community members can nominate and vote for outstanding professionals and artists across a wide array of categories. Nominations and voting ballots are collected by a ‘’robust and trusted online form builder used by over 25 million users worldwide, making it easy to gather and manage data from the community.
Community Engagement & Monthly Meetings
In addition to the annual awards, the Fort Wayne Urban Awards will conduct monthly meetings with community leaders and local businesses to discuss economic topics, celebrate minority business achievements, and provide a platform for collaboration. This commitment ensures continuous community engagement and economic support throughout the year.
Scholarship Fundraising & Humanitarian Awards
To further support local talent and entrepreneurship, the Fort Wayne Urban Awards will host fundraising events for scholarships and community initiatives.
